Why I stopped publishing my work.

I’ve been meaning to write this for a while. 

The last time I updated this website was in 2020.  A great deal has changed since then. Back then, I had ambitions of studying politics, philosophy and economics. I’m now a third-year medical student. 

In late 2020, I stopped publishing my work, primarily out of embarrassment. I realised my articles were poorly developed, and often failed to introduce new ideas.  Once I realised this, I felt ashamed to circulate further dross. I also became busier; first with the medical school entry process; then A-levels and finally medical school itself. I remained a passionate writer, but putting my work out was no longer a priority. 

I have not read any of my earlier pieces since I stopped publishing on this website, almost half a decade ago. I doubt I still agree with many of the views I expressed within them. I have left my earlier articles up in case you want to take a look, but they do not reflect my current style of writing. 

Time has passed; I am older now. I now feel better equipped to produce pieces that will be of value to readers. I hope to publish more of my work in the near future.
